Community College Baccalaureate Degrees
Illinois community colleges support introducing Community College Baccalaureate (CCB) degrees in Illinois. CCB degrees enhance and expand the existing system to provide more affordable, accessible pathways to success no matter where a student is located. Adopting CCB degrees is a natural extension of Illinois’ commitment to improving career pathways for all students, and will align programs with employer demand, directly addressing regional workforce shortages and increasing the state’s capacity for baccalaureate attainment.
